Ustad Hussain Baksh Gullo is the son of the renowned vocalist Ustad Nathu Khan of the Patiala Gharana, who himself was the guru-brother of Ustad Bade Ghulam Ali Khan.
He is a distinguished Classical Singer renowned for his significant contributions to Punjab Folk Music. He hails from the esteemed Patiala and Sham Chaurasi Gharana of Classical Music, which boasts the lineage of great maestros such as Ustad Salamat Ali Khan and Ustad Nazakat Ali Khan. As an exceptional composer, he has skillfully set many Ghazals to music, presenting them in a poetic manner best experienced through his live performances.
Recognized for his achievements, he was honored with the Chandigargh Award for Music by the Chandigargh Club in India. A regular artist on Radio Pakistan and Pakistan Television, he excels in delivering performances encompassing Indian Classical, Thumri, and Ghazals.
