Musadiq Sanwal, a musician and journalist from Pakistan was born in the ancient city of Multan, South Punjab. Aside from being a media practitioner, he pursued a personal interest in music, singing and composing songs in Punjabi and Saraiki. Mainly self taught, his singing style had the flavour of the folk traditions of rural Sindh and Punjab.
He was also a co-founder of Matteela, a website for photography, music, film, art and literature based in Lahore.
