The All Pakistan Music Conference (APMC) Karachi came into being to provide crucial support to the endangered heritage of Pakistan’s traditional music & dance. Our cultural traditions inform our personal identity and collective worth as a society. At APMC Karachi, we believe that cultural awareness is integral to a healthy society and free access to it is the right of every individual.

Our 21st Annual Festival
Rain clouds with a silver lining; the event was nearly cancelled due to bad weather, venue changes and particularly difficult fundraising. However, the indoor venue at the National Museum provided an even more enchanting musical experience than anticipated, despite our initial feelings of compromise.

Pakistan Centre for Philanthropy (PCP) certifies APMC Karachi
As a testament to its persistent efforts APMC Karachi received PCP’s certification for non-profit good practice. Heartened to have received tax-exempt status on this basis.

APMC Karachi, is a registered not-for-profit, which was setup with a vision to preserve and revive the traditional arts of music and dance of Pakistan.
What We Do
Keep abreast of APMC Karachi’s activities: showcasing both maestros and younger artists, introducing Pakistan’s youth to our rich music and dance traditions, and documenting the history and wisdom of our musical gharanas.
